2nd Floor Bathroom

True hope is working on a great new project!  As you may know, we do a lot of work with the teen orphans at Dorm #86. What you may not know is the truly reprehensible condition of the bathrooms in this particular facility. Dorm #86 is a coed dormitory that houses approximately 60 teens. Only one of the two bathrooms in the facility is “usable” forcing the boys and girls to share one bathroom. This is not ideal in any situation, especially not for teens. The bathroom itself is also not ideal having only five “squat” toilets with no doors, no hot water, no working showers or tubs and only 4 small sinks to wash up in. Large rats live down in the drafty toilet holes and are frequently found lumbering about.

These bathroom conditions, not to mention the lack of privacy, are absolutely deplorable and intolerable!

Broken Toilets Still in Use

For $8000 we could remodel the bathroom with 4 Toilets, 4 Sinks, and 2 Showers. For $16,000 we could remodel both bathrooms with the same amenities allowing them to have a separate men’s and lady’s bathroom.

While this is a large sum, it is not impossible! We serve a great God and we believe that He will provide for His children! He has proven His faithfulness time and again. This is such a great opportunity to put our words and love into action! The kids will be a part of the entire process. They will be able to learn and develop new skills, spend more quality time with mentors, and have a sense of ownership and accomplishment as they work together. Please consider contributing to this project.
